The well-being of babies and children is our primary concern, so during your child’s appointment with a guardian present, a full case history will be taken to establish if treatment is appropriate. We always recommend that if you have any concern regarding your child’s general health, please ensure you discuss it with your GP or Health Visitor first.
Babies – Osteopathy for babies and infants is a subtle form of treatment, addressing stresses and strains of the whole body. This form of treatment does not address specific conditions, but gentle manipulation could help soothe and relax your baby.
Infant to Teenagers – Osteopathy is a gentle treatment, which is also suitable for children and babies. Like adults, general joint and muscle issues can affect children. During your child’s appointment an Osteopath will assess your child’s individual needs in order to help them as they grow through the many stages from infants to teenagers.
