Foot Health Care is carried out by a registered Foot Health Practitioner. They are skilled in dealing with all areas of foot care including treating corns, verrucae, athlete’s foot, hard skin removal, cracked heels and trimming nails. They can also offer treatment for fungal infections, thick nail reduction and an initial treatment for ingrowing nails. Other areas of service include neurovascular assessments, diabetic foot maintenance and general foot health maintenance. The role of a Foot Health Practitioner is to help maintain the health of a foot even before it starts to become a problem.

A Foot Health Practitioner can also offer advice on insoles, shoe support, plantar fasciitis and bunions. For other issues not included in this list, an appointment with our Podiatrist may be necessary.
